In a recent conversation with a LAPD Police Captain who is stationed at the North Valley Sepulveda precinct, Earle Charles accepted a compliment that was paid to the Valley Youth Conference. The police officer said that they were fully aware of the various VYC Clubs and the work that we do for the community of providing an alternative to the Youngsters. He said that they are thankful that we are here doing our part because the alternative of “gang participation” would not bode well for our community.

Earle humbly accepted the kind words that were being passed on to him, and he readily gave the credit where it belongs, to the countless volunteers who have given so much of their time, so much of themselves in order to be a part of the Conference’s basic mission... “to provide a sporting outlet to the youngsters of our community”. 

Inasmuch as we are called, “The Valley Youth Conference”, an organization that was first started in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Simi Valleys, we have extended our reach to areas as far south as Los Angeles and as far North or East as Palmdale and Lancaster, California.

The Valley Youth Conference takes it mission of providing a sporting outlet to the youngsters of our community very seriously and as such, we provide a Sporting experience where any girl or boy from the vast area that we serve can be on one of our Sports teams almost every day of the year. The sports that are available in the Valley Youth Conference are:
